In Ghana, where the system does not work, Christians get to make all the noise they want and disturb the peace of others willy nilly. So when some Ghanaians (and other Africans) travel outside they think they can carry over that nuisance behaviour to foreign systems.
Breaking news – you can’t!
A video shared by Twene Jonas shows a man being arrested trying to preach.
When officers told him his preaching was disturbing the public peace, he tried being defiant, thinking he was still in ‘afuom h)’. Before he realized he had been arrested.
In a multi cultural society, you can hold your beliefs in your bedroom but don’t disturb others in public when they’re trying to go about their day.
Those dawn preachers and annoying public transport preachers should learn a thing or two from that!
