Ghana’s anticipated upgrade to the 5G spectrum has hit an unexpected hurdle following the disappearance of Tony Mintah, the Chief Executive of NextGen InfraCo, the firm responsible for executing the project.
Per a report issued by the Ghana Police Service which was spotted by adwoaadubianews.com, the security service has confirmed that Mr. Mintah was taken from the National Communications Authority (NCA) premises by unidentified individuals.
This development has raised concerns over potential delays in Ghana’s 5G rollout, as NextGen InfraCo plays a pivotal role in the project.
