Madam Freda Ocran, a Ghanaian nurse and former student of the Ghana Institute Of Journalism GIJ has lost her life to the novel coronavirus, My News Ghana reports
Freda Ocran who is believed to be in her 50’s kicked the bucket on the 28th of March 2020.
Her son said she “gave herself undoubtedly to the church, to her work, and to her kids.”
The health worker who worked as the former head nurse at New York City’s Jacobi Medical Center the last post on Facebook read “I can’t stay home; I am a health worker”.”
“Everything you can say about a saint was my mom,” Freda’s eldest son, Kwame said of her departed mother.
Freda who was a student of the Ghana Institute Of Journalism studied nursing when she migrated to the United States Of America.
“She’s my everything – my wife, my friend, my advisor,” Freda’s husband said of her.
