The BEAST named “PDS” and the Propaganda of Thieves

A sequel to my previous article on the Power Distribution System, PDS, that was supposed to better our lot, let it be known to all and sundry that this whole wrong idea was birthed by the NDC to create and loot moneys intended for the Improvement of the Power Sector as detailed in the Millenium Challenge Corporation agreement signed with Ghana under President Obama. Of course, President John Dramani Mahama never thought for a second that he was going to lose elections 2016, so his incompetent government laid down an aggressive system of looting by allegedly giving Joseph Siaw Agyepong a key backdoor role to dominate. After all, his boy, David Asare, is a key strategic member of the PDS team, and so is his ally, Hutting-Mensah.
The whole idea was to redirect as much money from the Millenium Challenge Account as criminally possible to share amongst the NDC thieves. I am still waiting for AG and SP to search earnestly in their conscience to take all these criminals on, now that their wanton schemes to impoverish Ghanaians have been exposed.
The PDS is fraudulently claiming that under its management, Ghana’s electricity debt stock was reduced by one billion from where it was pegged at 3.3 billion. That is as horrendous a lie as the criminally minded faces behind this dangerous wolf in sheep’s clothing that NDC termed as our “saviour”. John Mahama and his hounds have soon shirked off responsibility and pushed the blame onto the NPP after the stinking exposé; but that would not wash.
The current government is strapped in this quagmire because the deal was already signed and sealed, and the process of forming the PDS had come along with the approval of the Americans. However, this listening President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, did not waste time to suspend PDS when it turned out to be a nauseating fart in a limp balloon.
PDS, from March 2019 until June 2019, in four months received electricity from ECG to the tune of GHs2.4 billion. Of this humongous amount, only GHs186million was paid to ECG, that notwithstanding the July and August invoices that have still not been raised. Truth be told that PDS allegedly gave more money to Jospong under the rotten contracts awarded him than the meager payment for electricity supplies to ECG; and they want to blame the latter for choking Power Producers, nonsense! Truly, too, PDS is not making good on its obligations to pay for the use of the ECG facilities. Their bid is to paralyse this State owned company so that phase two of the fraudulent scheme would kick in, purportedly, to push government to make ECG comatose, and bring PDS in its place. In the scheme of things, NDC thieves want to continue milking the State through the Jospong/Manilla bi-partite conglomerate of nation wreckers and professional scammers.
I challenge PDS to state otherwise! I challenge the paid propagandists to prove that PDS did not consume so much electricity from ECG! They should prove that they have paid ECG a substantial amount of that money. The PDS inhuman personalities think that their suspension is an evanescent situation that would soon come to an end. Government will not allow such an obstreperous entity to continue causing confusion with their strepitous propagandists as they make hay while the PDS lasts! Let them dream on!
I want us to hearken back to the good ol’ ECG, and endeavour to make it efficient. I am glad that the current management of Electricity Company of Ghana had turned things around in the sector, and, until the takeover by the criminal PDS, had dealt away with rampant power outages and load shedding, both of which, in spite of the huge volumes of Power supplied by ECG had brought back those phenomena. Besides, PDS was allegedly exporting electricity, so where is the money to pay ECG? I am informed that PDS engaged in something called “electricity smuggling” where PDS allegedly connived with a few rotten cohorts within the sector to conceal this shameful development. Well, they did not pay dues to government, I am informed, so anything that is illegally traded out of the country is “smuggled”
In other words, PDS was evading tax otherwise attractable on smuggled electricity. The vagaries of the charlatans involved seems to know no bounds. That is yet another gross financial loss to the State! Special Prosecutor should dive into this whole quandary and fish out Ghana’s interest if he is serious about keeping that enviable tag to his name.

I beseech Mr President never to allow the fraudulent PDS another go at us! Bring back ECG for good. Left up to me, I’d throw Jospong and the other thieves in Jail. They should be tried for treason and executed in public! The whole world must know that Ghana is not a warm wet hole for economic rapists! And the Manilla folks must face the punishment, after all, in the Philippines, people get shot and killed arbitrarily just for suspicion of drug dealing, let alone on treasonable charges as robbing the economy, and causing financial losses to the State! That is so CRIMINAL!!!
