Founder of All People’s Congress, Dr Hassan Ayariga has questioned the supposed economic prowess of Ghana’s Vice President Dr Mahmoud Bawumia over the speedy depreciation of the Ghana Cedi against the US dollar.
In a Facebook post sighted by, Dr Hassan Ayariga indicated that six Ghana Cedis is exchanged for one dollar in the forex market as at today 22nd May, 2020.
He wondered what had happened to the overly touted credentials of Vice-President Dr Mahmoud Bawumia to the extent that the Nation’s currency has fallen on such a paper weight.
“Dr Bawumia, please the Dollar today is Ghc6.00. What is happening with your economic fundamentals? Save the Cedi I beg you”, Dr Hassan Ayariga wrote one a sarcastic manner.
