FrimpongParliament has denied reports that two Members of Parliament and 13 staff of the House have tested positive for coronavirus.
A statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Kate Addo said the reports are false and that results of coronavirus tests conducted on the MPs and staff have not been received.
The Speaker of Parliament has directed all members and staff of the House to be tested for coronavirus.
In his welcome address as Parliament resumed sitting Tuesday, Prof Mike Oquaye assured members and all staff that the necessary steps will be taken to protect them.
The tests were carried out the next day.
But some media reports claim results have been released and two MPs and other staff have tested positive for the disease.
