Ghana’s leading online portal allghanasports had an exclusive interview with Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan.
In the interview,the resilient goalkeeper narrated how he started his football career from the scratch.
“Felix Annan is my name, who currently plays for the team of the century Kumasi Asante Kotoko.I am a simple guy and down to earth person . “
“I started my football career from Colts football with Shooting Stars (Akweteyman-Zongo)Achimota before moving to WAFA. I played two(2) years at shooting stars and six(6)years for WAFA. “
“I completed Senior High School and because of Football I stopped schooling.I went to Revss Academy (Primary & JHS) and senior high school I went to T.I. Ahmadiyya Gomoa Potsin”
When asked whether there’s goalkeeping competition at Kotoko,he said
“There is competition in every big club and same here in Kotoko he added “.
When asked if plans playing for any local club after Kotoko,he said
“I wish to travel abroad from here because it would be difficult to see myself playing for another club here in Ghana even though it’s football an anything can happen but I want to move out after. “
“I haven’t played in Europe for a season but spend like two months with Belgium team club brugge but negotiations didn’t end up well. “
The ace goalkeeper revealed what motivates him to play more.
“What motivate me in football is the love and passion in me and I have never regretted playing football. “
“I wish to win Africa for Kotoko but we see how the future holds. “
The former WAFA goalkeeper gave a message to his fans for their support.
“A word to my fans and Kotoko as a whole Just want to thank them for their support and love! I will always keep working for them .”
