FrimpongBoard Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV has made it known that he wants Hearts of Oak to be the cynosure of all eyes in order for all clubs across the continent to draw inspiration from.
In an Interview with GTV Sports+, he said, “I want to make Accra Hearts of Oak a prominent club in Africa. We want to build a club that becomes a reference point across the continent, in terms of what a modern club should look like.
Personally, I don’t like the idea of players leaving Accra Hearts of Oak and going to Sudan, Guinea, Congo, why should it be so? We we need to compete with all the clubs. We want to really be the magnet that will attract players across the continent.
Of course, we want to make Accra Hearts of Oak a prominent club, prominent of course, is not just about name, it is about winning trophies at that level, having organizational structures and systems in place, having facilities that are celebrated.”to u e kokkk
