FrimpongGhana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council has unanimously voted for the cancellation of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
The 12-member council led by FA Kurt Okraku after hours of deliberation opted to conclude the season due to coronavirus pandemic which had halted all football activities since mid-March.
The decision to cancel all football competitions was taken during a meeting on Tuesday.
The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has taken a decision to cancel the 2019/2020 football season following a marathon meeting on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the GFA Secretariat in Accra.

Earlier, the Associatiion had announced that a final decision concerning the future of the league would be taken by June 30th.
The Premier League was halted on match week 15 with Aduana Stars leading the table with 28 points
