FrimpongBoard member and acting chief executive officer of Asante Kotoko Mr Joseph Yaw Adu has msde damning revelations of the state of the club’s secretariat just a day in office.
The retired Sports Director of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology expressed his disappointment at the state of the offices and equipments at the club’s secretariat.
Mr Yaw Adu who is leading 5 member interim management committee to steer the affairs of the club is seeking to revamp the offices by installing new equipments and improve upon staffing.
“To be frank with you, Kotoko as you see outside is a big club and belongs to Otumfoɔ so everybody knows that its a big club indeed, but coming to the office today I have to confess am a little bit disappointed” he told the club’s media outfit, Kotoko Express.
Mr Yaw Adu expressed that state of the secretariat does not befit a club in the status of Asante Kotoko, and is looking to collaborate with the other members of the board to reshape the the entire ediface, he revealed the office is not ready to host a new Chief executive officer with no computers to work with .
“The secretariat is not ready to accommodate a chief Executive officer as of now, the office is as hot that I have to sit at the conference room, the staff told me most of the machines are at fault, and are not serviceable, So I have told them to put in a request to the board to acquire new machines to run the office”.
The new Asante Kotoko board is tasked to run the club to beckme self sustaining, and to bring it back to ts glorious days in Ghana and African Football.
