Joe PeeThis is the freshest campaign promise from the camp of former Prez. Mahama.
During a Youth Speaks Forum, which was organized by the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD) in collaboration with Youth Bridge Foundation, a non-governmental organization which is funded by the USAID at Koforidua in the Eastern Region, Mr. Richard Nyarko, the youth organizer of the region for the NDC said, the teachers licensing examination which was implemented by the Nana Addo administration would be cancelled if the NDC wins the upcoming December polls.
He said the exams was a waste of time and was a strategic way of drastically reducing the number of trained teachers the government had to employ.
He added that if the NDC is given the mandate to lead, 2021 and the preceding years would be licensure examination free for all teachers, and all the remaining uncompleted day senior high schools would be completed.
There would be an implementation of free technical and vocational training for the youth and for all wiling Senior high school and university students.
This initiative would help reduce the level of dependency and unemployment rate in the country.
