Harrison Addo is GFA’s New General Secretary

Ghana Football Association has appointed Prosper Harrison Addo Esq as the General Secretary, adwoaadubianews.com can confirm.

Addo is a known face in the country’s football matters as he previously served on the disciplinary committee board as the chairman under the erstwhile Kwesi Nyantakyi administration.

Prior to taking up the GFA CEO appointment, Harrison Addo was Senior Manager, Complaiance at Scancom Limited (MTN Ghana), where he also previously held the position of Manager, Commercial Legal.

Mr Addo brings extensive corporate experience and football know-how to his new role. Mr Addo is also a lawyer with over 18years experience and a member of Ghana Bar Association.

He holds a Law and Economics degree from university of Ghana, Legon. Mr Addo also holds an MBA from the Salford Business School, University of Salford in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Formerly as a sports journalist with Radio Universe, He is also of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana(SWAG) and also an associate member of the Institute of Public Relations(IPR), Ghana.

It is unclear whether he will resign from his role with the Telco company or combine the two works.
