Founder of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has reacted to a photo of Jean Mensa receiving the Covid-19 vaccine jab.

The photo, which is fast circulating online, saw the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), react to the pain of the jab awkwardly.

The EC boss who may have been experiencing some pain from the syringes had her eyes firmly closed as the health worker injected the vaccine into her left arm.

Mr Otchere-Darko took to his Twitter page to post the photo, saying it was just a prick.

He said the vaccination will not be as painful as a cross-examination from the lead counsel of the petitioner, Tsatsu Tsikata, in the ongoing election petition hearing.

Mr Otchere-Darko also reiterated the need for Ghanaians to get vaccinated as the fight against the coronavirus pandemic continues.

“It may not be as painful as being cross-examined by a Tsatsu. Just a prick! It may look like her but not her! Don’t be swayed by the cynics.

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and other state officials have also followed suit.
