In a recorded video, DKB revealed that he had visited Akuapem Poloo at the police station where she is being convicted and she is being treated well by the officers.
But according to DKB, Akuapem Poloo is being traumatized by the whole situation and due to that, he would humbly appeal to the judge on the case, Her Honor Christian Cann to pardon the actress because he believes she has learned her lesson.
DKB believes that a softer punishment should be given to Akuapem Poloo but being sentenced to jail put her and her seven-year-old son in a state of trauma.
However, Akuapem Poloo is facing three charges of publication of obscene materials, undermining her son’s integrity and detracting his dignity. This was after she shared a naked photo alongside her son on his birthday last year.
Akuapem Poloo was being remanded into police custody and made to undergo a pregnancy before she faces the court today, Friday 16 April for her final sentence.
Ghanaians and some celebrities like Sarkodie, DKB, Efya, and others have pushed the hashtag #FreeAkuapemPoloo, pleading with the authorities to pardon the actress and not separate her from her son.
Akuapem Poloo’s mother had already revealed that her son is currently traumatized with the mindset of having his mother go to jail,
