Bawumia promised heaven on earth in Ghana and five years on, still no show and even far worse, his magical ideas about turning around the economy has literally failed, as the economy as seen in the pockets of many, have literally worsened also.
This been a reality, that every Ghanaian can testify to, except those, who have had juicy contracts from the party in power, it has forced the renowned deliverance pastor and presidential elections aspirant, Osofo Kyere Abosom, to call Bawumia, the nation’s biggest liar.
Osofo Kyere Abosom, who is a church planter, entrepreneur, and avid fighter against worship of “gods,” in a viral video, lashed out against the Vice President, as according to him, all the things he promised prior to the 2016 general elections have remained a myriad, though he does not specifically mention why, the reasoning may well lie in Bawumia’s own word of “incompetence” or sheer wickedness, not to implement his “good” plans for Ghana.

Bawumia has been lying and keeps lying. He always speaks here and there and when you go and check, there is nothing there. Bawumia cannot be trusted, until maybe he changes from this time on. We are going to arrest the dollar, but he couldn’t, we will build one village, one dam, it didn’t work. Within 100 days, we will construct boreholes for every community, but where is it? All the things he promised, they failed in implementing them” he said.
“To be frank, let me tell you. If you want a bigger liar in Ghana, then that is Bawumia. When he is talking to you and you look at his face, he will deceive you. All that he said is a big lie” Osofo Kyere Abosom added.
In my personal opinion, these assertions are very true. Bawumia was an expert on economic transformation and lashed out severally about borrowing, as he insisted that, Ghana can develop without borrowing. Is it not sickening that, this government has borrowed more than the one they criticized? and interestingly, they have found a phrase which says “smart borrowing” and hence, suddenly, their excessive borrowing makes sense.
The fight under corruption was one of his favourite speeches, but under his leadership, corruption is still a major issue in Ghana, but under his leadership, he may want us to believe that, they are doing their best. Really? If this was the best fight ever, then Ghana has lost and may never develop.
Bawumia suddenly does not talk about the economy transformation, if you have also realized. He now talks about digitization, as though digitalization will suddenly change the standard of living when there is no employment or money in ones pocket.
For these words of dishonesty and lies allegedly directed at Bawumia, by a fellow presidential aspirant, in a year, when we are no where near elections, this means that, the case is serious. And it is so, look at the several cases of armed robbery, look at the cases of unemployment and desperation amongst many, are these not the reasons why the #FixTheCountry is fast gaining grounds.
Remember the #OccupyGhana demonstrations, most of the leaders are now comfortably employed by this leadership and enjoying all the goodies, they were against in the NDC. God and Karma can only be paying back, their incompetence, by creating this national demonstrations, that may soon gather momentum and shake up the bad and irresponsible leadership we are witnessing now in Ghana, which has seen corruption, galamsey, just name it, overtaking the country.
