Founder and leader of the Economic Fighters League Ernesto Yeboah, has averaged that President Akufo-Addo must be held responsible for the inability of #FixTheCountry campaigners to demonstrate.
He opined that the President, who is known as a human rights activist and a campaigner for the freedoms of people has become a hypocrite.
He told Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the President is using the various institutions of state including the Police to prevent the campaigners from demonstrating.
Ernesto Yeboah posited that Ghana is not moving in the right direction with corruption, mismanagement, misappropriation, and poor leadership being the order of the day.
He slammed the President saying he has in recent times breached several Covid-19 protocols but refusing to grant the youth of Ghana an opportunity to demonstrate.
He recounted how the President led the ‘Kumipreko’ demonstration but today preventing people from demonstrating against his corrupt-infested government.
He described the Police Service as a political tool being used by the government to frustrate the demonstrators.
He declared that the campaigners will not give up the fight in demanding better leadership.
Ernesto Yeboah said Ghana deserves better leadership, a corruption-free government, and accountable governance.
