FrimpongSome traders at the Ashaiman market have been arrested for trying to prevent the task force disinfecting markets in the Greater Accra Region from disinfecting the market.
The traders numbering about 300 trooped to the market in a bid to go about their business as usual.
The traders were angry with the task force and complained that they were not aware that the markets would be closed down for such an exercise.
Some went to the extent of exchanging words with members of the task force leading to the arrest of some of the traders.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) said the arrested traders will face the law where necessary.
