It is another morning, and Captain Smart has set out his journey as usual. This morning 6th December 2021, the former governor of the Bank of Ghana has been “hit” by the general in what seem to be a “write off” on all the “old men” who have the aspirations to becoming leaders of the country or climbing up the presidential seat.
Speaking on Onua TV, he once again bemoaned the state of economic management in Ghana and declared that no old man will be brought to rule the country after Nana Akufo-Addo.
His reasons for this saying is that the old men do not have the nation at heart. “I have come to realize that the old men do not seek anything good for the country. Dr Duffour, you are a very fantastic man and I really love your personality.
But for the presidency, it is a no. We are no longer going for an old man”, Smart declared.
