A Junior High School graduate, Benedicta Bruce, has been rescued by Golden Bees Club, which is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) from committing suicide.
According to information gathered by editor Maxwell Osei Bonsu, Benedicta decided to commit suicide because her parents could not afford for her to further her education to the high school.
Luck been on her side, Maxwell shared her sad story with the Golden Bees Club, whose aim is to support the needy and vulnerable in society decided to help the lady who had Aggregate Fifteen (15) and had Benkum Senior High School.
Speaking with the media, the President of the Golden Bees Club Nana Serwaa Caiquo, mentioned that, they as an organization will take full responsibility of Benedicta till she complete SHS.
She added that, if there anyone who needs their assistance in any form being education, health, financial, they should contact them as they are willing to help as government alone cannot do that, so it is also a way to assist government to build a better nation for all.
She said these during an inauguration ceremony held at the golden tulip in Accra.
Benedicta on her side expressed her gratitude to the group and promised that she will make the group proud by burning the midnight candle to get good grades.
