UAE is a critical economic hub that cannot be allowed to be in stress simply because of its location and role in the region. Its downfall will bring down a global economic and energy crisis. Its ports and airports are critical hubs for tons of international trade.
Any war in UAE will cause the Hormoz sea path to close up, causing lowered supplies of oil and gas from GCC countries adding to the mess.
Even its possible single enemy, the Iranian regime, would come in aid because it relies on it economically.
Realistically speaking any attempt will be nipped in the bud before it happens because you don’t mess with the Swiss alternative for MENA region without damaging the world economy severely.
You just can’t expect the world countries to watch when their own economies are at stake.
UAE doesn’t even need an army to be defended. The power of peace by being a critical part of the World economy is more than enough to force even your enemies into protecting you.
The same applies to any country that has a critical part in the World economy.
