There are reports that Kim Kardashian has undergone plastic surgery to remove her butt implants and possibly liposuction.
According to a source close to the reality TV star and several plastic surgeons, Kardashian’s buttock looks smaller than it used to, leading them to believe that she may have had a buttock augmentation that has now begun to absorb and diminish.
Board Certified plastic surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe, who has not treated Kardashian, said that in his opinion, he thinks Kardashian had a filler-based buttock augmentation that is now diminishing, resulting in her newly trim figure.
Dr. Rowe also noted that it is possible that Kardashian’s smaller curves could be a result of natural weight loss, but the size of her buttock would depend on the type of material used for the augmentation in the first place.
If Kardashian had a fat transfer, then weight loss could diminish the size of her buttock.
Experts say that all filler-based augmentations, including fat transfers, last about two years before being naturally absorbed by the body.
If Kardashian wanted to remove the fat transfer before it had dissolved completely, it would require liposuction, according to Dr. Rowe.
America’s Holistic Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Anthony Youn, agreed with his colleague and added that Kardashian’s buttocks may also have been downsized through recent weight loss.
While Dr. Youn has not treated Kardashian, he said that it appears that she may have had her buttocks reduced and it is definitely possible that her buttocks have gotten smaller due to liposuction, or a combination of both.
Dr. Youn added that a little liposuction of the buttocks can make a backside go from massive to just plain big in as short as a couple of weeks.
Kardashian’s famous derriere has been a topic of discussion for years. In 2011, she had an x-ray done on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” to prove to fans that her backside was all natural.
However, shortly after the stunt, her butt suddenly became more full than ever before. It is unclear if Kardashian has had any procedures done or if her smaller figure is a result of natural weight loss or padded underwear.
