Owusu Bempah never prophesized about Chief Imam- Collins Owusu

Collins Owusu, the junior pastor of Owusu Bempah, has chimed in on the controversy involving the Chief Imam and Owusu Bempah.

He believes that Chief Imam has led a life that is worthy of emulation and sees him as a mediator of peace, thus he would be surprised if the statement came from his office.

According to a report, Rev. Owusu Bempah said the National Chief Imam and other leaders consult him to look into their futures during the Saturday, December 31st, 2022 night service.

The National Chief Imam’s office objected with this and requested that the Ghanaian Christian community, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the National Security, and other important institutions call Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah to order in the interest of maintaining the nation’s peace, harmony, and unity.

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharabutu, was the target of what the office described as demeaning comments made by the founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International.

However, a junior pastor of Owusu Bempah, Collins Owusu, stated on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen that he is doubtful of the statement made by the Chief Imam’s office, saying, “I am not sure chief Imam is responsible for this release.” Collins Owusu added that there is nothing wrong for a religious leader like Owusu Bempah to claim that he visited the Chief Imam and that no one needs to know what transpired between them.

Mr. Owusu further stated that the words used on Rev Owusu Bempah in the release was uncalled for.
“ You don’t use such words on a religious leader even if he arred” Whoever issued the communique does know the true meaning of Islam- he said
