Beverly Afaglo Baah, a Ghanaian actress, recently shared her thoughts on the film industry and marriage.

She discussed the influence of marriage on her career and the goals of other actors in the profession, as she is married to Praye Honeho of the music group Praye.

While Beverly admitted that marriage had an impact on her profession, she emphasized the enormous value it gave to her life in the shape of a loving and joyful family.

In an exclusive interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, she shared her conviction that several of the actresses who rose to prominence in the film business following their marriages are now looking for life partners.

She emphasized that everyone’s path is unique, and how God works in people’s life varies from person to person. “How God works is different for each individual,” she says.

Beverly Afaglo also admitted openly that marriage might stifle one’s professional advancement in the film industry, since women who are still unmarried may have the possibility to grow faster. Nonetheless, she is satisfied with the lovely family life she has created via marriage.

In her own words;

“Those people who overtook me whiles I’m home are also now looking for husbands to marry and give birth. That is how God works in his own way. How God works is different from every individual”.

“Marriage slows you down and those who are still single in the industry will overtake you though you started before them”

Beverly Afaglo offered insight into the diverse experiences and choices that shape the lives of actresses in the Ghanaian movie industry.
