Former President John Dramani Mahama says the decision by the Akufo-Addo led government to embark on agenda 111 hospitals is only an afterthought.
Speaking on a Bolgatanga based radio station as part of his thank you tour, he said the government has suddenly realised that they must do something to justify all monies borrowed since they came into power, therefore the agenda 11 to deceive Ghanaians.
He said Ghana’s public debt has moved from 120billion cedis to 400 billion since Akufo-Addo came into power.
He said there is no explanation on how money will be raised for the agenda 111 project; adding that consensus could be reached if government opens up.
