Founder of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor has thrown her weight behind President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the country readies to go into December, 7 polls.
She explained the performance of President AKufo-Addo in his first term in office is commendable judging from the kind of policies he has been able to implement or initiate.
She indicated that she will provide all the support needed for the President to succeed.
She noted, “I am helping him now. Whatever needs to be done will be done to help him succeed until he is done. When I help him to finish his works, I am the next.”
Speaking in an interview with ABC News in Kumasi at the 63rd Independence Anniversary of Ghana, the former flagbearer of the GFP lauded the President for the initiative to bring the National Celebration to the Ashanti Region.
“Nana Addo has really done well for bringing the celebration here and to other regions. He did it in Tamale and now in Kumasi. He deserves praise for such an initiative ….,” Akua Donkor expressed.
