FrimpongLegendary Hearts of Oak goal poacher Ishmael Addo says Asamoah Gyan is the best that Ghana football has ever seen.
Ishmael Addo who is highly respected due to his attacking prowess during his time with Hearts of Oak believes Asamoah Gyan is the best striker to ever emerged from Ghana.
“He [Asamoah Gyan] is one of the deadliest strikers I have seen and a good chap. For me he is the best Ghana football has ever seen trust me,” Addo told TV3 Sports.
Asamoah Gyan currently holds the record as the Ghana’s all-time leading topscorer with 51 goals and remains the African player with most goals [6] at the FIFA World Cup.
He has been inactive after recovering from an injury while playing for Indian Super League side NorthEast United.
Meanwhile, Ishmael Addo has retired from football, winning the Ghana Premier League topscorer award on three consecutive times during his days at Hearts of Oak.
