Ghanaian female musician, Rebecca Acheampong popularly known as Becca has lashed out on Africans who are demanding justice for George Floyd, the African American who was killed by a cop in the US but do not support people marrying outside their religion or ethnic group.

In a tweet on microblogging site twitter, the musician said: “fighting and advocating racism in the USA” and yet in their “church/home” they are “criticizing and judging someone for marrying a fellow African”.

Becca’s decision to marry a Nigerian in 2018 received a lot of reactions from Ghanaians who questioned why the ‘push’ hitmaker decided to marry outside her home country.

But in response to that on several platforms, Becca has stated she “got married at 33, So they cannot say that after 33 years of living in this country, nobody saw me or anything.”
