A truck reportedly suffering brake failure caused a chain-reaction accident involving five vehicles, including one belonging to Bishop Salifu Amoako, Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International. The crash occurred on Tuesday, December 24, near the bustling Tesano-Papaye area.
While all the vehicles sustained extensive damage, it was a stroke of fortune that no injuries were reported. Eyewitnesses described the chaotic scene as the truck barreled uncontrollably into the vehicles before coming to a halt. The truck driver fled the scene immediately, abandoning the vehicle and leaving authorities to pursue an active manhunt.
Emergency services arrived swiftly to secure the area and assess the damage. Initial reports indicate that the truck’s brake failure is being scrutinized as part of ongoing investigations to establish accountability and recommend measures to prevent similar incidents.
Among the damaged vehicles was that of Bishop Amoako, a well-known spiritual leader who has recently drawn public attention due to personal tragedies. Just weeks ago, the Bishop faced heartbreak after a car accident in East Legon involving his 16-year-old son led to the deaths of two young girls.
