Renowned journalist and news anchor with Metro TV, Bridget Otoo has donated an amount of GHC10,000 to Hasaacas Ladies FC after the club paid visit to the Accra-based TV station to present trophies won from the just ended Women Premier League and maiden edition of the CAF Champions League Qualifiers – WAFU Zone B.
According to Bridget Otoo, despite the non-availability of sponsorship for the women, the team is determine to excel and that motivates the Hasaacas men to do better.
‘If they had won or not, would have felt the same, they have the determination that pushes them to be the best; winning Premier League and now WAFU. they sky is just their stepping stone. I know its not being an easy tournament for them but they really pulled their weight. One thing about the ladies is that they keeping winning to put the men on their toes.”
Bridget Otoo who also hails from Sekondi has being staunch supporter of the Sekondi-based Football Team. She also appealed to Corporate Ghana to support the club for future tournaments.
