Baffour Owusu Afriyie who is Otumfuo Abrafuohene and also the chief in Atwima Maakro in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality at the Ashanti Region has urged the pastors and the chiefs in the country especially Otumfuor Osei Tutu Ababio II the King of the Ashanti kingdom to wake up and save the mother Ghana from the hands of Politicians.
According to Baffour, It has been stated clearly in Bible that, pastors and chiefs are the real leaders in the world, but now the politicians have taken our country for granted and defrauding the people in our country.
He added that, this is the time for Pastors and chiefs to wake up and voice out for peace because the country belongs to them not President, Mps, and Ministers.
Baffour speaking to Enfrans Media Reporter Obofo Michael said that, we all know what is going on now in the country, the politicians are fighting over voters register, cursing themselves,treacting themselves and a lot of others because of position.
Moreover, He said it was the chiefs who fight to save the land from the white people, for instance the Asante kingdom before Politicians.
Baffour then Advised the Chiefs and the pastors not to allow themselves for the Politicians to used them. Don’t stand for any Political party, we should be independent to council the Politicians on behalf of the citizens of the country.
It be will unfair for any chief or pastor to campaign for any Political party.
Meanwhile , Baffour also urged the politician leaders to advise their party members to comport themselves during and after this 2020 general election especially the NPP and NDC.
