Some residents living in Kasoa are in a state of shock after news went rife that the corpse of a chief in the area had disappeared from his palace.
According to a source, the chief identified as Akyeamehene Kojo Amoashie who is the sub-chief of Kasoa Ofaakor in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
It continued that the dead body was stolen last Friday 6th March 2020 when the chief was laid in state for his burial at his palace.
In an interview, it was revealed that some armed men stormed the palace amidst shooting and stole the corpse.
The Asafoatse mentioned that the armed made aways with the corpse and the coffin in a pick up vehicle they brought.
“They wanted to take away the black stool in the palace which I resisted but from no where, a policeman who wants to ascend the throne, appeared and fired more shots,” he said.
