Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt has finally apologized to Ghanaians for making some comments regarding rape victims.

According to the controversial counselor, rape victims enjoy the act hence some become sex slaves to people who rape them which he noted it was because of his research and cases brought to him to resolve each and every day.

His comments was in response to a real incident between a man and his wife whom have been married for 10 years. The wife of the man continues to see the person who raped her when she was young to satisfy her sexually since her husband cannot do that.

Responding to this scenario on Adom , Counselor Lutterodt said the wife of the married man continues seeing the rape suspect since she enjoyed the act when she was been raped.

After his comments, Ghanaians and for that matter a host of important personalities in the country have lashed out at the counselor for making such comments.

The likes of Ama Abebrese, Juliet Ibrahim, Nana Aba Anamoah, Jessica Saforo, Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Gabby Otchere Darko, Mrs Cynthia Morrison, Oheneyere Gifty Auntie have all expressed their disappointment in Counselor Lutterodt’s Rape Comment.

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection headed by Mrs. Cynthia Mamle Morrison, has issued a letter calling on the National Media Commission to ban Counselor Lutterodt from appearing on TV screens.

The letter also called on the Ghana Psychology Council to call the outspoken counselor to order since his comments were considered very harmful to the mentality of people living in the society.

The letter also asked Counselor Lutterodt to apologize to Ghanaians and retract his statements.

It seems the counselor has finally listened to the advise as he has apologized to Ghanaians.

Speaking on Entertainment Review with Kwasi Aboagye, Mr Lutterodt noted that someone wanted to sabotage him hence the person took a portion of the whole statements he made to tarnish his image.
