FrimpongThe management of the Korle Bu Teaching hospital has announced restrictions on visits at the hospital by relatives of patients on admission.
This is part of the measures by the premier health facility to contain the spread of the covid -19 virus.
A Press statement issued by the Public Affairs directorate of the hospital (KBTH) said it has limited visits to patients on admission to only two relatives.
“In the case of the department of child health only patients/guardians of the patient are permitted to visit,” the statement noted.
This according to authorities has become necessary because patients are already vulnerable and can therefore be easily infected by the deadly virus.
