FrimpongGhanaXtra can report that a suspected coronavirus case has been recorded at Winneba in the Central region.
The alleged case per sources available to this portal occurred at the Baptist Hospital today.
The identity of the patient remains unclear as hospital authorities are tightlipped over the issue.
We are, however, informed that the sample of the patient has been taken and forwarded to Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, for further analyses.
Meanwhile, sources available to this portal indicates that the patient has been quarantined at an unknown location.
Ghana has so far recorded six cases of the novel Coronavirus COVID-19, a situation that led to government placing a ban on all public gatherings and closure of all educational institutions.
