COVID-19: Wenchi MP makes donations to various health centers in the constituency .

Member of Parliament for Wenchi who doubles as a Minister for Planning, Prof Gyan Baffuor, earlier today together with other executives and health officials paid special visit to health facilities within the constituency.

He distributed COVID-19 items to the various health facilities (Tromeso, Droboso,Subinso No2, Wenchi and Nchiraa Health Centers. The rest are St. Joseph clinic Koase, Amponsahkrom, Buoku and Ayigbe CHPs Compound, Emil memorial hospital, Botemso CHPS Compound and Goverment maternity home.

Prior to that he had donated an amount of Ghc70,000.00 to the Assembly to help fight against the spread of the virus. In addition he made presentation of Veronica buckets, PPEs, hand sanitizers and others to the Wenchi Methodist hospital on 21st April, 2020.

He was accompanied by the Municipal Health Director and the Public Health nurse Madam Abigail Fosuhemaa. The health officials thanked Professor Gyan Baffuor for his humanitarian gesture. They also asked for more items including testing kits.

Hon. Gyan Baffuor on his part praised them for not recording a single case in the municipality and told them to strictly enforce and observe all the protocols necessary to fight the virus.
