Isolation Centers

One issue that seem to impede efforts in managing the pandemic has to do with the availability of isolation centers. The initial thirteen treatment centers that were earmarked are overwhelmed by the rising numbers, drawing on the need for the designation of facilities to be used as isolation centers.

The Regional Minister, Dr. Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah in a recent media briefing however assured that the issue will be dealt with. He disclosed that Chief Executives of the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies have been tasked to set up isolation centers in their jurisdiction so they can effectively manage and contain the infection.
