Debt ridden Asante Kotoko to be rescued by National Circles Council

Leadership of the National Circles council of Asante Kotoko have come to the rescue of the Club following the publication of the club owing their former Chief executive officer of over 5 months Salaries.

The Cirlces have resolved to clear the monies owed to George Amoako who led the club as CEO from 2018.

The debt which is running into over 10,000 Ghana cedis according the NCC chairman Christopher Damenya will be paid by the supporters if given the chance by the board.

“We will speak with Mr Amoako to know the exact amount the club owes him, then we will seek the blessing of the board before making any payment” – Christopher Damenya told Asempa FM.

“We have a couple of supporters living abroad who have pleaded to pay the entire amount should the new board allow us, we want this board to have their free mind to work, and not be burdened by such debts” he added.
