FrimpongExperienced football administrator Albert Commey has warned colleagues to stop treating Ghana football as partisan politics else the game be destroyed beyond repair.
Albert Commey who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana premier league side Techiman Eleven Wonders believes that allowing partisan politics to creep into the game will be inimical to its growth.
There has been a recent trend where some persons involved with Ghana football have been prejudicial towards the current football leadership. These persons seen as political opponents to the GFA president Kurt E.S. Okraku have condemned almost every move the GFA embarks on.
Albert Commey speaking in an interview with Takoradi based Skyy Power FM, fears that if allowed to continue, this holds no positives for Ghana Football.
The former Aduana Stars CEO believes it’s about time football administrators realise this and put a stop to it.
“To be very honest, I sit and observe how football people are trying to make football like a political party” Commey told Skyy Power FM
“If this person is in power, the others have to do everything to paint things they do black”.
“This is an association so whatever they are doing they have to be very careful,” he warned.
“They cannot destroy it today and try to amend it tomorrow, it cannot be,” Commey concluded
