The Education Minister, Hon Osei Yaw Adutwum on Monday, took the position of a classroom teacher when he stood before a SHS Form three class at the Anglican Senior High School (SUPERKASS) in Kumasi to teach the bemused students, elective Maths.
The drama unfolded when Hon Osei Adutwum paid a surprise visit to the school and got attracted to the chalk as an experienced teacher to share his knowledge and skill.
His teaching encounter lasted 30 minutes during which he taught how to solve numerous complex mathematical questions to the admiration of the students who are being prepared for this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

The enthused students showed visible signs that they had indeed been well-tutored by an experienced teacher and that a thing or two taught them would give a big boost to what their accredited teachers had so far imparted to prepared to write their adequately prepare them for their final exams.
Hon. Adu-Twum who was a toast of the SUPERKASS students was in the school as part of an unexpected visitation to some selected schools in the Ashanti Region.
The Minister who is a successful entrepreneur and was running a chain of schools in the USA before his political appointment also visited Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) at Asokore Mampong.
While there the Minister who is also the Member of Parliament (MP)for Bosumtwi took time to spin a yarn of how he rose to become senior Government official after attending the non-elite Jachie Pramso Senior High School (JAPASS).
As part of the tour, Hon Osei AduTwum presented citations to some 12 schools whose students excelled in the last WASSCE in the Ashanti Region. Tepa Senior High School topped the list and therefore adjudged the best school.
