TV3’s ‘New Day’ newspaper review got to a bright start today, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 as Dr. Okoe Boye and Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe joined Johnny Hughes. Johnny Hughes started the show on a lighter note when he asked Okoe Boye why he keeps on helping people and fixing toilets when the people of Ledzokuku had rejected him. According to Okoe Boye, he was not hurt but disappointed.
Okoe Boye added that what brings him joy is service so he takes more joy in serving the people despite the disappointments. Edudzi Tamakloe entered the discussion and revealed that he has credible information to show that Dr. Okoe Boye will be rewarded and appointed as the new National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) boss. He sounded so confident that Johnny Hughes asked him for his source. He however refused to say and only alleged saying he is so sure about his revelation.
“I have information that he is the incoming NHIS boss. Very high information. So Johnny, your village people need to make peace with him. Otherwise when he is disbursing money you will be left out. This information is ‘conk’. I am very confident that he is the incoming NHIS CEO. The information is good. He is a close confident of the president you know, so we are waiting for the appointment” Edudzi Tamakloe said
Dr. Okoe Boye laughed about the revealed appointment and insisted that he has little to say than to wait for the appointment. He jokingly said that those not in power even have more information than those in office.
