Female songwriter and vocal goddess, Efya known privately as Jane Awindor has inspired her colleague female emerging artistes that though the road to stardom looks difficult they can achieve it with determination and hard work. She revealed that the biggest secret to having a successful music career as a female artiste is being able to put together a solid team behind you who would direct you on the right thing to do to achieve set targets.
Efya made these revelations in an exclusive chit chat with Cape Coast’s finest radio personality, Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central monitored by Mynewsgh when she was asked to advise females on the secret to success in the music industry. She advised “As for the work it’s very difficult so if you want to do it you have to be brave and courageous. You have to be determined and focused. You need to do more rehearsals and practicals.
“And make sure you have a dynamic team which is holding your back solidly. The team must know what they are about to be able to direct you on the right way to go. “Be determined and persist because it’s not an easy road but it is achievable”, she concluded.
Many female artistes continue to spring up everyday in Ghana but most of them seemingly devise a strategy to thrive on nudity and vulgar words in their songs but hardly do they last in the music scene.
