Sarkodie has expressed his unreserved disappointment at the growing state of instability in the country following the killing and disturbances that were recorded at Ejura in the Ashanti Region.
Two individuals died on the spot and others who sustained varying degrees of injuries were rushed to the hospital after the military and police fired shots sporadically into a crowd of angry youth.
The youth were demonstrating the murder of one Mohammed Kaaka, a political activist who was beaten and killed a few days ago.
Reacting to videos making rounds that give a sorry account of the level of insecurity in the country and how volatile the safety of the Ghanaian has become, Sarkodie says this is definitely not the Ghana we preach to the world.
Remember Sarkodie, when he was adjudged the Flow of the Year at the 2019 Bet Hip Hop Awards encouraged all and sundry to pay attention to Ghana and try to visit the country. He said those words based on the fact that the country enjoys peace and stability.
However, Sarkodie believes with the deteriorating nature of Ghana’s security being magnified by the Ejura Killing clearly has revealed to every Ghanaian the true state of the country.
Definitely not the “Ghana” we preach to the world 💔 https://t.co/VynuoW9CSn
