Eno Barony is a very good rapper – Sista Afia concedes ‘defeat’

Francisca Gawugah known by stage name Sista Afia has described her ‘beefing’ colleague, Eno Barony as a very good rapper who is good at what she does.

Her comment has come as a surprise to many especially when she [Sister Afia] has repeatedly maintained that all the songs Eno did during their ‘one-week’ beef were wack.

Sister Afia and two female rappers, Eno Barony and Freda Rhymz engaged in one of the most unusual spectacles in the Ghanaian entertainment industry as they threw shots at each other through music.

Though Sista Afia started the beef with the release of her single called ‘WMT,’ Eno Barony, who arguably was the last to join the beef appears to have stolen the show with many saying she’s a woman who can rub shoulders with the men in the industry.

Even though, Sista Afia has on countless occasions looked down on Eno’s songs describing them as not ‘good enough,’ she has made a U-turn stating that her rap ‘rival’ is a very good rapper.

Though praising her, Sista Afia argues that Eno should be ashamed of her for going head to head with a weakling like her, knowing very well she [Eno] will win.

“I am a singer and she’s a rapper so if she will beef anyone it shouldn’t be me. She should even be ashamed of dissing me. She should be ashamed of dissing me because she knows I’m a weakling because I’m a singer so you think it’s easy for you to win at my side. If she feels she’s punching a female musician, she should sit back and think again. Now people are praising her and she thinks she’s won, as for the praises she will get it but she should think about it.”

“It’s like a singer going to battle a dancehall artist in a dancehall field, people will definitely praise the dancehall artiste more than me so she thinks I’m a weakling and she can definitely win and obviously she’s a very good rapper, I won’t deny that, she’s very good at what she does and I’ve worked for Eno before,” she said.
