Reports gathered from Bloomberg Billionaires Index indicates that the ex-wife of Jeff Bezos, Mackenzie Scott is currently the world’s richest woman after Amazon shares skyrocketed suddenly during the coronavirus lockdown.
Apparently, Mackenzie Scott owns a 4 percent stake in Amazon and as a result added a whopping $30.3 billion to her bank balance somewhere last year, taking her total net worth to a whopping $67.4 billion.
The shares skyrocketed from $2,000 to $3,500 from the very beginning of 2020. This boost alone has made her the richest woman in the world and the 12th richest person in the world.
