President-elect John Dramani Mahama has outlined his post-political aspirations, revealing a heartfelt plan to dedicate himself to full-time farming. During a visit to his farms in Yapei and Busunu over the weekend, Mahama expressed his deep-rooted connection to agriculture, describing it as his first love and a pursuit he intends to embrace fully upon retiring from politics.
Reflecting on his agricultural passion, Mahama noted, “Farming is my life. I love it. I am sure if I didn’t go into politics, I would be a full-time farmer.” His statement underscored his unwavering commitment to the sector, which he views as a vital part of his identity and a fulfilling endeavor beyond public service.
