Floyd Mayweather has subtly revealed he will fight Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov in a rematch this year.

The American boxing legend defeated the Irishman in Las Vegas back in August 2017 with a 10th round stoppage.

But there has been a clamor among fight fans to see another money-spinning crossover – and Mayweather sent them into meltdown on social media with his latest post on Instagram.

Just moments after McGregor completed his UFC comeback with a thrilling 40-second TKO victory over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, Mayweather posted a promotion image saying: “Mayweather vs McGregor 2. 2020.”

UFC boss Dana White seemed to suggest there was some truth to the post – as he confirmed that conversations have taken place.

“Floyd and I have been talking tonight,” – White said.

“We’re doing something with Floyd. There’s so much going on, but Floyd is in our plans and we are in Floyd’s plans this year. We’ll end up doing something,” – he added.
