FrimpongMLSsoccer.com has named Ghanaian trio in their all-time Africa best eleven players to have ever played in Major League Soccer.
The trio of Harrison Afful, Patrick Nyarko and Latif Blessing following their spectacular performance in the MLS, were the only Ghanaians to make the list.
Surprisingly, Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba who played for Montreal Impact and Phoenix Rising in the United States couldn’t make the cut.
Harrison Afful has been impressive since joining Columbus Crew in 2015 from Tunisian giant Esperance de Tunis.
He has capped 119 matches for Columbus Crew in the Major League Soccer and he is a top figure at the Black Stars of Ghana.
Patrick Nyarko also made the cut following his impressive form at D.C United and Chicago Fire making 236 appearances in total.
Latif Blessing need no mention, he is one of the most important players for LAFC since joining them from Sporting Kansas City. He has made 89 appearances in the Major League Soccer.
Legendary Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins and Kei Kamara from Sierra Leone made the cut.
