Gone are the days when gospel musicians in Ghana were known for wearing long dresses, less makeup, no artificial hair or nails and sang spirit filled songs. These days the gospel musicians in Ghana seem to be following the trend of secular artistes by copying their style of dressing.

Well, Cece Twum has justified the reason for such a drastic change.

According to Cece Twum, it is not proper for people to label female gospel musicians who have good fashion sense as ‘Slay Queens’.

Speaking to MC KiKi in an interview on Sky 102.1 in the United States of America, Cece reiterated that there is nothing wrong for gospel musicians to dress well and look appealing.

Cece Twum explained that the world is changing and revolving as such they can’t keep to the old style of dressing which makes them look old and haggard.

She emphasized that God does not hate good dressing as long as it doesn’t expose certain vital parts of the artiste.

The popular gospel musician argued a good dressing is an indication of God’s blessing to His children.

She bemoaned the criticisms targeted at gospel musicians in the country are too much — and that has accounted for the seeming collapse of the industry.
