FrimpongDeputy Information Minister, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei has described as fake news viral information indicating she has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to her, though she has not yet been tested in Parliament tests she has done outside the house resulted in negative.
The Deputy Minister in a Facebook post said ”To my loved ones who got worried when the fake news broke, I have not tested positive for Covid-19. I have not been tested in Parliament yet and all the tests I have done are outside parliament, of which I’ve tested negative in all. This obviously means I can’t be part of the parliamentary data as of now.”
”To those who thought it necessary to wish this for me, sorry to disappoint you as I have not tested positive. At all times, let’s put humanitarianism before politics. Let’s see covid19 as the pandemic it is and not a curse on personal and political opponents.”
The Deputy Minister averred that it is expedient to show compassion and not spread fake as it goes a long way to militate against the fight of the virus.
