Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, better known by her stage name Michy, is a musician and social media influencer from Ghana.
She discussed this on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z and stated that one of the reasons she is studying law is because of her interest in politics.
Michy said, “I have future goals, that’s why I’m going to school now. When asked how long she wants to keep making music, she said, “I have future aspirations. In my 40s or 50s, I don’t see myself continuing to make music. I’m hoping I can go into politics.
She continued by saying that in her opinion, politics is the finest career in Ghana right now. It provides you a particular prestige in society that unlocks doors that would not otherwise be available, according to Michy. Therefore, it’s for the prestige and the opportunity to give back.
Michy, who formerly dated dancehall star Shatta Wale, has stated her desire to run for parliament after entering politics.
She also said how every week she provides food for roughly 80 kids in her neighbourhood as a way of giving back to society.
Michy stated a few months ago that she had gone back to school and was working towards becoming a lawyer in Ghana.
She detailed that she is done with her first year. ” I am in my second, we just started the second year this year,” she said. According to Michy, she wants to become a criminal lawyer.
